What is Nutmeg?

From 1994-2000, a group of folks from diverse spiritual traditions (and who also actively used the Internet) would participate in an annual gathering of fun, networking, and learning in a variety of small, unsuspecting hotels across this great nation (okay, most of them were in Illinois). Each year, people would make the pilgrimage to our legendary gathering, and many (if not most) of them would return each year.  Nutmeg was neither a convention nor a festival, but a gathering of people who were usually competent to entertain themselves and who did not require a huge number of planned activities in order to stay happy.

In 1998, an attempt was made to create a Nutmeg membership organization. This proved to be more difficult than expected, and the organization was dissolved in the year 2000.

What Is Going On With Nutmeg?

Due to a variety of circumstances, Nutmeg is taking a break this year in order to regroup and to consider whether continuing the gathering is a viable option. However, a number of people who have attended previous gatherings have indicated a willingness to get together for some fun and socializing. Thus, we are going to be having an informal Nutmeg this year in the Chicago area.  If you are a previous Nutmeg attendee, and are interested in attending, OR if you are just an easygoing  sort of a person who doesn't object to showing up for a "non-event", why not join the Nutmeg list in order to learn more about us?

To sign up, please follow the following instructions:

1. Send  email to nutmeg-request@eschatek.com
2. In the body of your message, type " subscribe "

You can also send us an email request for more information at: sfi30@yahoo.com  we would, however, prefer it if you joined the email list and asked your questions there.
